  • Sinclair Health Clinic

Looking for volunteers to help with intake (especially looking for bilingual individuals for both medical and non-medical positions.) 

Sinclair Health Clinic is also collecting face masks.

  • VAN (Valley Assistance Network)

United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley is recruiting volunteers to serve as budgeting coaches, resource navigators and pathway mentors. Volunteers are needed to help with intake and connecting individuals to community resources. You can contact Jennifer Hall at 540-773-6665 or

  • The Kids Clubs of Northern Shenandoah Valley

Due to COVID, The Kids Clubs is limited on what volunteers can do at this time. However, there are plenty of projects they could use some help with! Contact Lexi Cook at for more information on how you can volunteer.

  • Foster Friends

Foster Friends is looking for volunteers to provide and deliver meals to foster families with new placements or who are in need of financial assistance. Contact Lexi Cook at

  • Road to Recovery Volunteer Driver-Winchester

Road To Recovery is an American Cancer Society program designed to help improve the quality of life and reduce barriers to care for cancer patients undergoing active treatment by transporting them to and from cancer-related treatment appointments. Visit

  • Blue Ridge Hospice

Blue Ridge Hospice has volunteer opportunities at their thrift stores. More volunteer opportunities will arise as we continue to go through the phases of this pandemic. Email Lexi Cook for more information

  • Faith in Action

Needs volunteer drivers to transport individuals to and from medical appointments who are in need of transportation assistance who do not qualify for transportation through Medicaid.
