Frequently Asked Questions

What are the services like?

All services include a time of worship through song, a relevant message from God's word, communion, an opportunity to give, video elements, and more.

We meet for two services each Sunday morning: 9:00am and 10:45am.

Most of our services last about an hour.

What will happen on my first visit?

We won't make you stand up and introduce yourself or give you a name tag that makes you stand out.  We simply hope you'll feel welcome and enjoy your visit, and we invite you to stop by The Link in the lobby for more information about New Life.  By filling out one of our "Connect Cards," you'll even be making an impact in our community.  For each first-time connect card we receive, we give an extra $10 donation to one of our local partners doing great things in our community.

What should I wear?

You should wear whatever you're comfortable in.  You'll see a variety of people wearing a variety of clothing and everyone is welcome!

Where is New Life located?

2930 Middle Road in Winchester.  We know there are a lot of churches on Middle Road, but if you're coming from town and look for the church with the green roof on your right, you'll find us!  The green building is our "Family Ministry Building" and behind it is our "Main Building."

Where should I enter the building?

There is a glass-door entrance on the front of the main building, as well as one off the side parking lot of the main building.  If you're stopping by during the week, our office entrance remains on the side of the family ministry building.

Should I bring my kids?

Absolutely!  Our Kids Ministry is fantastic!  We highly recommend checking it out! Kids Ministry classrooms are located in the Family Ministry Building and our Kids Ministry has it's own entrance, marked "Kids Ministry."  Check-in is located just inside and our background-checked volunteers would love to meet you and your kids!  Find out more here.  Additionally, we now offer pre-check-in for kids coming to New Life for the first time!  By filling out this form in advance, you can save time at the Kids Check-In Desk.  When you arrive, just let our Check-In Desk Staff know that you pre-checked in!  The form is found here: Nursery Pre-Check-In

Nursery is also available for ages 2 and under in the main building.  Check-in for nursery takes place at the nursery door.

What about my teenagers?

Teenagers are always welcome in our main services, but during each of our services, our Student Ministry meets for their own worship service in the Family Ministry Building.  Look for the orange awning entrance and the "Student Ministry sign.  Find out more here.

Do I have to give money?

We do offer a time to give, but you shouldn't feel obligated!  Giving is an expectation for those who are members of New Life Christian Church.

What about communion?

We take communion together as part of our services each Sunday.  All who have accepted Jesus as their Savior are welcome to join us for communion.  Communion elements are available to pick up on your way into the service.  We'll take communion together about midway through the service.

Do you have coffee?

Yes!  There's always plenty of hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby.  And don't forget the donuts!

What denomination is New Life Christian Church?

We are a non-denominational, independent Christian Church.  Check out what we believe here.
