LIFE GROUPS

We believe that we were created for relationships and one way we foster deeper relationships, fellowship, learning, prayer, and service is through groups.  Life Groups are small groups of people who meet together, usually weekly, throughout our typical group season (End of August through May).  Term Groups meet together for a specific number of weeks on a specific topic (i.e. 4 Weeks on Leadership.)  All groups are encouraged to pray, learn, grow, and serve together.  If you'd like to be contacted by a group leader, or need assistance finding the group that's right for you, please fill out the form at the link below:

  • Term Groups

    If your schedule won't allow a long commitment to a life group. We encourage you to check out the term groups that start throughout the year here at NLCC. Term Groups are groups that meet for a few weeks at time to study specialized topics. 

  • Sunday Evening Ladies' Group

    Led by Kelly Cook & Tricia Dorsey


    Location: Main Building-Auditorium 6-8 pm


    Join us as we connect, grow in our faith, and deepen our knowledge of God's Word.  

  • Sunday Evening Men's Group

    Led by Tom Vetter


    Location: Main Building-Lobby @ 6pm


    We invite men of all ages to join us as we discuss the exodus from Egypt and the Tabernacle in the Wilderness.

  • Monday Evening Life Group

    Led by Annaliese Barton


    Location: Main Building-Lobby @ 7pm


    A group of adults in our 20s and 30s, who dive into video studies from top Christian Leaders and enjoy spending time together through game nights, bowling, and events when schedules allow. 

  • Mondays: College Life Group (Monday evenings)

    Led by Emma Dicken & Hailey Brown


    Location: Student Ministry Area  @ 7pm


    A group of young adults (18-29) studying the Bible together and enjoying fellowship through various game nights and activities.

  • Monthly Mom's Group (1st Monday of the Month)

    Led by Kristyn Quinn


    Location-Family Ministry Building-Student Ministry Room @ 6:15pm


    Join us as we go through scripture-based studies on motherhood. We pray, talk, and encourage each other through all the joys and struggles of being a mom. This group coincides with the Thursday Mom's group.

  • Tuesday Evening Life Group

    Led by Kraig Bishop


    Location: Family Ministry Building-Student Ministry Room @ 6:30pm


    A group for all ages and life situations, we study verse by verse through different books of the Bible, while encouraging one another through prayer and fellowship. This spring, we are working through Ezra and Nehemiah.

  • Wednesday: Weekly Mom's Group-Currently On Break

    Led by Laura Beth Strunk


    Location-Main Building-Nursery @ 9:30am


    A group for moms in all different stages. Our children play around the room together. 

  • Wednesday Morning Life Group

    Location: Family Ministry Building-Student Ministry Room @ 9:30pm


    A group for all ages and life situations, we study verse by verse through different books of the Bible, while encouraging one another through prayer and fellowship. This spring, we are working through the books of Ezra and Nehemiah.

  • Monthly Men's Group (Last Wednesday of the Month)

    Led by Glen Zachgo


    Location: Zachgo Residence @ 6:30 pm


    We invite all men to join us as we go through a study on what we believe and why we believe it. Food is provided.

  • Iron Fathers-Dad's Group (First and third Wednesday of the month)

    Led by Phil Strunk


    Location: Strunk Residence 6-7:30 pm


    The role of fathers raising their children in faith has been a strong point of emphasis among Christians.  This is a group for fathers and father-figures who are seeking to grow together by learning from godly examples, praying for each other as we lead our families in faith, encouraging each other in our walks, and sharpening one another as the spiritual leaders of our homes.

  • Thursday EVENING LIFE Group

    Led by Ken Hoch


    Location: Family Ministry Building @ 6 pm


    Our group dives deeper into the current Sunday Morning Sermon Series. Join us as we grow and have fun together while discovering what God has in store for us. 

  • Thursday Evening Life Group

    Led by Sam Gates


    Location: Main Building-Nursery @ 6 pm


    Are you looking for a place to dive deeper into your faith, discover the Bible’s hidden gems, and have fun along the way? Our group combines meaningful discussions with an engaging format: exploring biblical and historical context, verse-by-verse analysis, comparisons across the Bible, and real-life application. With exciting topics like costly sacrifices, the story of Judah, and more, there’s something for everyone.

  • Monthly Mom's Group (4th Thursday of the Month)

    Location: Timber's Cafe @ 11 am



    For moms who want to take a deeper dive into scripture, join us as we go through the book of John. This group coincides with the Monday Moms group.
